Josephine Tan is SVP and Division President of PS Consumer Solutions at HP Inc. She is responsible for end to end business strategy and management of consumer computing products and solutions, including core, premium and gaming notebooks and desktops.
Josephine started her computing career in Compaq Computers. She held various roles in the US and Asia, including setting up the first Asia design center in Singapore. After HP acquired Compaq, Josephine inaugurated the HP Taiwan Development Center in 2002, where HP centralized designs and develops Consumer PCs for the global market.
In 2005, Josephine left HP for external global marketing roles and rejoined HP in 2014 as the Head of Consumer Notebook Product Management. In this role, she oversaw the roadmap planning and operational success of HP Spectre, Envy, and OMEN, as well as entry-level and Pavilion PCs.
Being a certified Unix engineer, Josephine has a deep background in electrical engineering, software development, technical service and support, and customer engagement. Combining her expertise and passion, Josephine brings technology capability and design possibilities together to develop devices and solutions that make a difference in consumers’ daily lives.
When not working, Josephine enjoys playing Pokemon Go on the street, upgrading her Pokemon combating abilities to first grade, and hunting for new shoes.
